I knit too, but I'm not sure if I can help. Usually the patterns I use are not that difficult - don't have the patience for that ;)

Can you post the pattern here or do you want to send it via e-mail?

Thanks ladies for your help offers.

Problem solved- the ladies at my local yarn shop could explain that pattern to me. It just crossed my mind that they might be able to help. And now I'm knitting the jacket away... well mostly ;)

As expected it's not that difficult - I'm slightly not used to English patterns which are quite different from German ones.

The jacket is knitted in one piece and that made it a bit hard to understand. Guess when I've done the first one there might others follow

Please post a picture when the jacket is finished. I am curious :D

To knit a jacket or a jumper in one piece sounds difficult to me.

I'll do so :)
Knitting a jumper in one piece is not that difficult, did this last year. But a jacket - that's completely different  Well, I'll manage

I can only imagine starting from the wrist end of one sleeve and working my way towards the wrist end of the other. But yours is probably more sophisticated!

I did that too years and years ago calga. Wouldn't say mine is more sophisticated - just different. And you have to pay way more attention at the beginning which is mormally vice versa.
Otherwise it starts to turn out something different
